Hey, hey, hey! Welcome to Prepped-ish Week 9!
How was your week? Did you crush it? Either way, we made it. Do you feel like you’re in a groove, or is there something you’d like to tweak or adjust? Tell me everything—I’m all ears.
Now, let’s get into this week’s menu. First things first: no chicken in sight. We’re taking a break from the usual and leaning into some bold, delicious Asian flavors. And because I’m always scheming to make life easier, I made a big pot of rice on my (very chill) prep day. That rice showed up in multiple meals throughout the week, and every single one of them took less than 35 minutes. So, if you’re here for weeknight dinners that don’t make you question your will to live, you’re in the right place.
Let’s talk skills—what’s something in the kitchen that still feels a little shaky? Do you want to learn a technique properly so you can cook with more confidence? This week, I broke down how to slice steak against the grain, which is truly the difference between a steak that melts in your mouth and one that gives your jaw a full workout. Let me know what else you want to master!
As always, thanks for being here. Cooking is more fun when we do it together. 💛
